Alexander The Great... Reaches New Heights

At the sound of running water, Matthew and I ran to our bathroom to discover this shocking and disturbing sight. Our Bathroom was a complete mess and Alex was sitting in the sink enjoying the view. He managed to climb into the toilet, onto the counter and into the sink. In record speed I would guess. He is quite a problem solver. He reached his favorite thing WATER. After suppressing my desire to beat the sweet trouble maker we took the above photo. Notice the mascara in his hand. That happens to be one of Alex's "fun toys" to thieve. I've replaced 2 in the last month. I'm not sure where he hides them. Still, you have to admit... he's pretty cute!

Alex has reached the same stage as my little guy--but mine hasn't actually climbed into the sink yet. He just moves step stools around and runs water down the bathroom or kitchen sink, filling cups and dumping them on the floor. We now use a gate to block the kitchen, and chain the top of the bathroom door--older kids can reach it with the step stool, but a toddler is locked out!

At least he wasn't sitting IN the toilet. I had one that used to do that!

    Uhhh, been there!
Moments like these shall be cute in hindsight. He is an adorable little fish. My stories of toddler bathroom mayhem include kids in the buff creating lavish lather with the pump hand soap and bathing in the pedestal sink. Lately, Isaac has been seeing what happens to cardboard when it gets wet.
Tip" Keep draino on hand or the plumber's # on the fridge~
