Season Premieres
There's no "Bones" about it, Season Premiers are something exciting to look forward to.
As the summer drags on, it's nice to think about a bit of new entertainment on the horizon.

Private Practice: Thursday, October 1st
My only real TV disappointment this Fall is that LOST won't be retuning until 2010.

My only real TV disappointment this Fall is that LOST won't be retuning until 2010.
Until then, I will continue to read books and anxiously await the answers to....
1) Will Agent Booth (the Bones hearthrob)regain his memory?
2) Will Leonard win the Heart of Penny in Big Bang?
3) Are Izzy and George really dead? Grey's Anatomy
4) Will Violet be rescued from the untrained wacko lady who's doing a C-section in her living room to steel her unborn child. Hello Private Practice!
5) And LAST>>>>> the anticipation will remain
Will Lost manage to wrap-up it's final season in away that does not leave us all feeling lost?
That's what this inquiring mind wants to know!

Nose Job
Today, Tyson decided to add a little drama to an otherwise typical Friday. Apparently, he is not aware that, just because his nose has a hole, does not mean that it is his job to fill it.
After breaking a beaded earring he chose to shove a shiny bead all the way up his left nostril. We attempted to blow it out to no avail it remained lodged way up there. So, we were off to urgent care.
The tricky fish (aka Tyson), was as happy as ever, tromping around the waiting room making friends with infectious children carrying knows what. And of course he was touching everything. Yikes!
Then came the fun of getting my little guy to hold still while the doctor shoved a light was up his nostril. Where was that shiny bead? It had disappeared. The Doctor's best guess was that Tyson had most likely swallowed it.
As a parting gift, Tyson found a dead grasshopper in the office. He proceeded to picked it up with his hands, and placed it on the exam table. I'm not sure the Dr. appreciated his offering.

Down by the River
We took our boys for a little drive to the Salt River. We chose not to stay long as we didn't have a Tonto Pass (whatever that is)... And, we were mostly just wanting the drive. We enjoyed some fresh air and walked around a bit. The boys loved it! Here are a some snapshots from the adventure.

The truth about Waterfalls
When we first moved to our house, we received a couple of notices from the city concerning our high consumption of water. Apparently we use more then most people.
What they did not know, was that we are not exactly the typical family. Our Alex, is in love with water and waterfalls. While many boys build buildings or airplanes, Alex is striving for multi-tiered water fountains.

Choose, but choose wisely
In life, there are numerous decisions to be made. Simple ones like what you're going to wear or eat for breakfast. And then there are complex ones. Such as, your career path, where to live, and who to marry.
For some, decisions making is fairly seamless, or at least it appears that way. For the logical, and highly pragmatic it makes sense. One can create a pro and con chart and the answer, in theory, presents itself.
I however, belong to another group of people. The type of person that can become perplexed by making even the simplest of decisions. I believe this is because I am more of an emotionally driven decision maker. I always want to make the very best decision.
I've been asked by Matthew "can't you just think about this logically".
I answered "yes, but that just doesn't make any sense." This is due to the fact that logic and emotions often conflict.

Honestly, I don't know why I'm writing this. But I'm curious...
Are you more of a pragmatic or emotional decision maker. Most of the time, do you purchase things and choose to do things because of your feelings or logic.

Working Girl
- After staying home with my boys, for over 4years, I had forgotten what it felt like. What is this task?
- 1work
- Pronunciation:
- \ˈwərk\
from: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/work
I've concluded that it is in fact all of these things PLUS tired feet and upper back pain. For now, my tasks include scanning documents (endless piles of papers) and mailing things.
That is my update.

A Reason to Celebrate
Today is a day to celebrate, some very special men aka Presidents, have served our country.
But...
But...
I'm speaking of someone far more dear,
someone kind, nice and much more near.
A person you'd be lucky to call your friend,
and because she's my sister,
our friendship and love will never end. Wendy is celebrating her 31st birthday today. She is a huge blessing in my life. She has so many great qualities. She's brilliant, thoughtful, funny, always quick and good for a laugh. She's giving and generous always finding the perfect something that is needed. She's a great mom to her 3 sons. She still she manages to balance and squeeze in taking care of herself (she's training for a triathlon). She also works as a RN for the Mayo Clinic.

The Gift that keeps giving...
The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch though...Post this same thing on your own blog and then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in. Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift!

Sarah None
At birth, I was given no middle name. This was intentional, as it allowed the perfect spot to maintain "Shumway" or S. once I married.
Unfortunately, I took this very seriously.
I was jealous of long beautiful "complete" names.
Alas, I was doomed to remain Sarah None until I married. A friendly neighbor across the street loved to taunt me with this name. Somehow for me, it stuck. Due to this childhood silliness, I'm extraordinarily happy to use Sarah S. Foote. And I use the S like it's going out of style. I finally have a complete name and I am no longer Sarah None
